When one person suffers from dementia, doing art together provides a tremendous sense of connection and relief. The typical frustrations associated with dementia such as loss words and short-term memory evaporate while caretakers and patients immerse themselves together in the moment. But at a certain stage of dementia it may not be feasible to travel to a class. Brant offers one hour lessons on location. These classes typically take place either in private homes or in assisted living facilities.

Students engage in variety of artistic exercises designed to bring both the patients and their caretakers into the moment where past and future cease to matter.

Brant is known to infuse his Art 4 Dementia classes with humor and compassion. Brant will also help caretakers pick up simple skills that enable them to continue their own art lessons with loved ones.

No prior experience with art necessary. Materials provided.

Workshop/Special Event/Class Series

Pre-registration and payment reserves your space, and is required for all workshops and events. There are no refunds, but if you cancel more than 24-hours prior to the beginning of a class series, workshop, or event, your payment is transferred to a credit you can use for any Kingman Studios product or service. Such credits have no expiration date. If you cancel less than 24-hours prior, you forfeit your payment. Please register early as space is limited.
